FashionCampNYC

My first blog is going to be about my experice at LIM's FashionCampNYC. It's is for middle school and high school students who have a passion for fashion and want to meet other girls with the same interest. Successful fashionistas in the industry from Elle, Coach, Tarte, Bobbi Brown, Sunglass Hut and a few others. Came to talk to us about their work and how they got started which was interesting to hear. The best part was seeing the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen's exhibit at the MET. It was so inspiring and beautiful and he was truely talented. When we weren't listening to speakers or seeing the exhibit we were working on our brand project. The brand project was a lot of hard work but fun. My group chose boho-chic jewlery for the nature loving girls. In the end it came out wonderful and FashionCampNYC was a success.
